Sunaina Roshan’s Weight Loss Journey

It’s very common that celebrities and people related to cinema industries like bollywood, make news about their appearance makeovers especially weight loss. After all, they need to look good and be glamorous to get themselves moving ahead. Sunaina Roshan (sister of Hrithik Roshan), made such news recently, going for weight transformation with weight loss surgery.

Sunaina had been going through some serious setbacks following her tough times due to various health issues and family setbacks. She is also a cervical cancer survivor. These factors made her go for quick, risky and unnatural weight loss method.

Sunaina had a weight of about 130kgs. Overeating with very little physical activity was a main reason for her rapid weight gain. Then she opted for a bariatric surgery and this surgery made her lose around 60kgs of weight in no time. Fortunately, the surgery was successful and she thanks the doctor. Emergency situations, health issues, family setbacks, depression and other conditions made Sunaina opt for surgery instead of going for the most natural methods of losing weight such as diet and exercises.

But bariatric surgery has a lot of drawbacks and risks. It may lead to muscle loss, hampered metabolism, food intolerance, digestion issues, uncontrolled and irreversible weight regain, dumping syndrome, gallstones, Sometimes the risks are fatal which may cause death also.

Hence the best way to weight transformation is to go with the natural ways. The natural ways include balanced diet, regular physical exercises, and healthy lifestyle. Compared to weight loss surgeries, these natural ways will not cause weight regain and other disorders as in case of surgeries.

Balanced diet should include food with rich nutrients like minerals, vitamins, protein rich foods, foods with complex carbohydrates, low cholesterol foods, fiber rich diet etc. Fruits and vegetables contain low fat and hence must be a part of balanced diet. Few foods that you must consider adding to your diet, are green tea, cabbage, cauliflower, almonds, whole grain cereals, honey, coconut water, berries, millet, jowar, walnuts, avocado, low fat dairy products, oatmeal, whey protein powder and more.
